Cambodian-French tennis player Andrea Ka, 24, was crowned as the champion of the ITF futures event after defeating her rival, Alba Carrillo Marin, 20, with the result of 3-6, 7-6, 7-5 at the Amarante Ladies Open, on the last Sunday in Portugal, where she won $10,000 in prize.
It is not her only victory in the recent period. The right-handed star has also won a game in Women’s doubles, along with another French star, Laetitia Sarrazin, for 4-6, 7-5 and 10-3, in the city of Oeiras, Portugal, in the previous week.
Secretary General of Tennis Cambodia, Tep Rithyvit, said that it is a great achievement for the Cambodian women’s player, to win two titles in two weeks for at this level of competition.
Ka now is in Lisbon for her 10k Lisbon, Wk. 27 tournament. We are looking forward to see her next achievements.
